Hello, and welcome to my studio! I am Johanna Lundqvist, a Swedish artist and designer who works in Germany.
I design, make and sell jewellery (or jewelry if you prefer), whether historical, contemporary or unique bridal pieces. I also create pictorial art such as illustrations, art photography and much more.

2012: Selected by the jury of The Franconian Art Prize 2012 (Fränkischer Kunstpreis 2012), arranged by the artist’s organisation BUN(D)T Fränkische Künstler.
2011: Moved from Sweden to Germany, closing down the Skimmer label and starting my new venture, evajohannastudios.
2011: My illustrations become the cover art of Brian Friel’s folk album “Karusell“.
2010: Published a collection of fairytale illustrations in the art portfolio “Where Mermaids Sing” (A&J Förlag, Sweden).
2010: Invited to exhibit contemporary jewellery in “Bling” at the Lödöse Museum, Sweden.
2006: Invited to exhibit bridal jewellery at Galleri XXX in Malmö, Sweden.
2003: My bridal jewellery was featured on the frontpage and on several inside pages of Aftonbladet’s Bridal issue for 2003. Aftonbladet is one of the largest newspapers in Sweden.
2003: Started the bridal jewellery label Skimmer (Swedish name) or Sparkling Follies (English name) which served many satisfied customers in Europe and the USA between 2003 and 2011. The webshop now lies dormant, but can be seen here.
